About LexiQuest

LexiQuest is a free, browser-based word puzzle with a daily ritual at its heart: five secret words to crack each day, in Dutch, English or German. There's nothing to install and no sign-up wall — you press Play and you're guessing within seconds, on your phone or your desktop, in light or dark mode. New puzzles drop every day at midnight.

Each word is five or six letters, solved the way you'd expect: green for the right letter in the right place, yellow for the right letter in the wrong place. But where most daily word games end at the reveal, LexiQuest keeps going. After every round a definition card appears with the word's meaning, pronunciation and word type — Dutch words explained in Dutch, German in German — so every puzzle leaves you with something you didn't know yesterday. Even a lost round ends with "ah, now I know."

The dictionary behind it grows from play. When someone enters a legitimate word the game doesn't recognise yet, LexiQuest checks it live against Wiktionary and remembers it for everyone who plays after them — the game's vocabulary literally expands the more people play.

And it's built to keep you coming back. Daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards crown a champion per language, complete with a spotlight banner showing why they're #1. Streak counters reward playing every day, earnable Streak Shields protect a run when life gets in the way, ten achievements wait to be unlocked, and purists who solve without hints wear a CLEAN badge. Results share as the familiar emoji grid, straight into WhatsApp.

LexiQuest is TapGames' first browser-native, daily game — three minutes of puzzling that leaves you a word richer, in a language you actually speak. It's free and playable right now at lexiquest.eu.

Key Features

Guess it, then learn it — Where other word games stop at the reveal, LexiQuest begins: a definition card shows each word's meaning, pronunciation and type — in your own language, so even a lost round ends with "ah, now I know."
Five words, three languages — A fresh daily challenge of five secret five- or six-letter words in Dutch, English or German, solved Wordle-style: green for the right letter in the right place, yellow for the right letter in the wrong place.
A dictionary powered by its players — Enter a legitimate word the game doesn't know yet and LexiQuest verifies it live against Wiktionary — then remembers it for every player after you. The vocabulary literally grows from play.
No account, no download — Play in any browser within seconds; progress saves automatically, and one tap via Google or an email code keeps your streak, points and stats forever — no passwords, ever.
Friendly competition built in — Daily, weekly and all-time leaderboards crown a champion per language, with streak counters, earnable Streak Shields, ten achievements and a CLEAN badge for hint-free solves. Share your result as the familiar emoji grid, straight into WhatsApp.
