1. Who we are

This website is operated by TapGames, an independent studio based in the Netherlands and the data controller for this site.

2. What we do not collect

We have deliberately kept this site simple. It does not:

• offer user accounts, logins, or registration;
• contain contact forms (the only contact method is a plain email link);
• use analytics, advertising, profiling, or tracking technologies;
• set tracking or marketing cookies (see our Cookie Policy).

3. The limited data that is processed

Email you send us. If you email hello@tapgames.nl, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to write, and we process that message to read and reply to it. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping.

Hosting & server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like virtually any website, the hosting/CDN layer may transiently process technical data — including your IP address and basic request information — to deliver the site and to protect it against abuse and attacks. This is a normal, security-related part of serving a website. Cloudflare acts as our hosting provider/processor.

Third-party assets (CDNs). Our web fonts are self-hosted, so loading this site makes no calls to Google Fonts or other font services. Two front-end assets are still loaded from public CDNs: Tailwind CSS (cdn.tailwindcss.com) and Font Awesome (cdnjs / Cloudflare). When your browser fetches those files, the CDN necessarily sees your IP address. We do not use them for tracking.

Embedded video. Some game pages include a trailer hosted on YouTube. Nothing is loaded from YouTube until you click play — only then does your browser connect to YouTube (we use the privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com mode). Once you play a video, YouTube/Google may process data under their own privacy policy.

4. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. Because we hold so little, in practice this usually concerns any email correspondence you have sent us. To exercise a right, email hello@tapgames.nl.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens (autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).

5. Our products are separate

TapGames also builds SaaS products such as Fyndle (and a marketing/ads platform in development). Those are separate services on their own websites, with their own privacy policies and their own data processing. This policy covers only tapgames.nl.

6. Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. The date at the top reflects the latest version.
